Complimenting Design Elements

A simple, yet classic look in any fabric, these rod run pocket drapery panels add a wonderful interior design element to this space. Custom drapery panels are held with tieback hardware so the panels stay in place. The drapery’s fabric compliments the dining room chairs’ beautiful details and frame of the wall hung mirror.

Interior designers frequently add mirrors within narrow or tight spaces to encourage a feeling of extra space. Keeping the mirror and frame choice consistent with the window treatment presentation was a must for this new dining room’s design.

Spatial Depth and Comfort

Dining room: Interior Design Nashua NH with window treatments in nashua nh

As interior designers, we utilize various elements to relay a feeling of spaciousness and comfort within the dining setting. Here, limited sources of light, varying ceiling heights, room depth, and seating capacity were all variables that were taken into account throughout the interior design process of this dining space.

I love the look of layering these elegant swag and jabot window treatments over the soft sheer panels underneath. This treatment adds a classic touch while allowing plenty of delicately filtered light into the room making it feel airier. Spanning the length of the wall and hovering just above the floor, the length of these sheer panels highlights the generous height of the ceiling.

This beautiful dining room is showcased with a theme of black and white colors in the rug, table & chairs, encouraging a more spacious, comfortable feel within the setting. A soft white color was chosen for the walls and sets a beautiful background palette for the room.  The trim, painted in a brighter white, shows off the decorative crown molding in addition to providing contrast and depth to the room.
